What IS NSET?
Social Enterprise UK has recognized Northampton as a Social Enterprise Town. This recognition aims to raise awareness and build the markets for social enterprise at a local and national level
Our Associates
AIM – 1 : Network Building
To develop networks between social enterprises and community and voluntary organisations in the town
To develop a critical mass of organisations from these sectors that can effectively achieve positive change for the sector and community through collaboration.
AIM – 2 : Business Development:
To create trading relationships between organisations from different sectors (social enterprises, community and voluntary organisations, private sector, public sector) to assist with scale and growth of enterprises and organisations in Northampton.
AIM – 3: Awareness Raising & Brand Development
To create trading relationships between organisations from different sectors(social enterprises, community and voluntary organisations, private sector, public sector) to assist with scale and growth of enterprises and organisations in Northampton.
AIM – 4: Creating Employability Opportunities for Students and Graduates
To organise events to encourage students to seek employment at social enterprises.
Promote voluntary work experience and paid employment opportunities at social enterprises and voluntary and community organisations to students and graduates.
